I live in the Sydney. The footage and photos of burnt distressed, suffering and traumatised animals will haunt me until the day the die. It has taken its toll on my mental health. I’ve cried every day and feeling grief. I will never forgive this government for its inaction.

I feel the same, utterly traumatized by the suffering and irreparable losses that could have been much lessened if this government had listened to its own advisors. Us and our natural world have been sacrificed to capitalism and fossil fuel billionaires.
