It's misleading scaremongering. Training and expertise in the treatment of eating disorders is not restricted to clinical psychologists and psychiatrist. Consumers must have improved access to and choice of a range of qualified professionals with this expertise.

The industry needs to be protected from these vicious attacks from vested interests. Restore equality to the sector and this will stop.

False information needs to be challenged directly. Why do some feel emboldened to spread misinformation that suggests only they can provide service? This contributes to distress for consumers and providers.

This has gone on for far too long @GregHuntMP: this distressing & false information spread through media:we need people held to account & silenced. A Royal Commission is essential to unpack the false narrative which threatens public access to services: urgently!
