From Dec 1, life-changing cystic fibrosis medicine Symdeko® will be listed on PBS for patients over 12yrs, who have specific gene mutations Current listing Orkambi® will be expanded for kids 2-5yrs, allowing earlier access to this life-changing medicine. http://ow.ly/Zty330pKntM
Patients can gain access to Symdeko® and Orkambi® immediately, with the manufacturer agreeing to the Government’s request to provide early access, until the medicine is listed on the PBS on 1 December.
