Medical Science "defeated" the leukaemia & a very happy result for them too. At a cost of approx US$1.5M/person, for a treatment that I believe was developed with PRIVATE DONATIONS, this is by far the most egregious example of socialising costs to privatise profits seen to date.

This therapy development was funded by the Leukaemia Foundation in Australia. i.e TAXPAYERS. Why then are Novartis selling it for up to US$1.5MILLION per person/treatment? Why does it cost so much? Who allowed Novartis the access to this? Something stinks to high heaven.
