.@billshortenmp has been caught outright fibbing on hospital funds. Across Australia our hospital funding is up by from $13b when Labor left office to over $21b this year.
And we are increasing our funding by over $30bn between 2020 and 2025.
Have Labor simply rebadged funding they have already announced? @CatherineKingMP this isn’t new money is it?
Let’s remember this is the same Labor party that when they were last in Government stopped adding medicines to the PBS because of their inability to manage the budget.
Labor is still not saying what their long term public hospital funding model will be – at the last election they only managed to find $2b as part of an unfunded $57b commitment – a $55b black hole. @billshortenmp simply cannot be trusted to deliver the essential health services.
