If it is such an important thing why do you wait until the run up to an election to make such an announcement given you are unlikely to be in power when implemented? Playing politics with children’s health?

Together we announced a $100m investment by the Govt, with Aus’s 1st Comprehensive Children’s Cancer Centre. Excellent they deserve it do you know if this funding will help brain tumour kids in QLD with costs to go to NSW for life saving surgery? Currently there are several children whose families are raising the money to go? The surgery can't be done in QLD
