Wow, that's like 41 average NHMRC grants - about 3.6% of what the NHMRC allocated in 2017. What a huge boost - not! How about some real, long-term commitments to *properly* funding scientific research, instead of tiny, piecemeal ones more likely aimed at grabbing headlines?

Ehlers Danlos Syndrome is the most under study rare disease in this country and thousands of Australians are suffering , I am still shocked most doctors are still asking how to spell it let alone be able too treat my rare disease..... its not good enough
