ew "stickiest'? why would you be proud of people remaining in one place all their life and experiencing nothing else?

It doesn’t mean we don’t travel. We travel plenty. Texas is simply the best state to live in.
-
Traveling and living in a different place are not the same. Texas is not the best place to live either lol. Sounds like something someone would say thats only experienced living in Texas and doesn’t know any better.
-
Ha! I’ve lived in California, North Dakota, New Hampshire, and Kansas. Don’t talk to me about not living anywhere else & knowing any better. Maybe you should just move out of Austin where the crazy people live.
-
I lived in NJ, NY, CA, HI, and FL. Texas is the best place I ever lived. Am proud to be considered a Texan since the day I crossed into the border (legally).

We love Texas, but how about helping those of us that pay into Teacher Retirement System of Texas so that we can retire and those retired can stay retired? Fix it please!

Unless you are a
#teacher or other#publiced employee/retiree in#Texas . Then you must live a@TRSofTexas#healthcarenightmare while other state employees/retirees and the#electedclass have far superior#healthcare with#ERS .#brokenpromises#breachofcontract -
Well said! Maybe we stay in Texas because we can’t afford to move (Teachers aren’t paid to move to a job like other professions ). Heck. Teachers barely make enough to cover health insurance!

#Texas is#deadlast when it comes to taking care of#retired#publicedemployees . How sad is that? How do they sleep at night?#ERSvsTRS#healthcarenightmare#SpecialSessionpic.twitter.com/z5aLjocaf7

Sir, I'm not born in Texas. I'm from Germany. But I got here as fast as I could and love it here. This is my home now for many years.
Proud to be here & have a Governor like you. Thank you, Sir!

I had to live in Ohio for a year. I couldn’t wait to move back “home”. Other states don’t know how to be friendly and helpful like we do.
-
Amen to that. And polite. And honest. And welcoming! Thanks Texas ppl!
