Wait until school districts find out how much police departments pay out in lawsuits for accidents and wrongful death. hehe.

I did google it. It’s all about schools doing safety checks. What I don’t see are active policy proposals to make sure no one with an assault weapon can ever enter a school. In Florida, they had 4 sheriffs deputies on the premises and it didn’t matter.

We need a program that lets properly vetted volunteers carry on campus and give them access to training. Some Texas counties are already doing this and we should make it statewide.

Anything short of banning assault rifles or limiting their capacity to 6 or 8 shots will be meaningless, the bloodshed will continue - maybe not in schools, but other public gathering places. You watch
-
Worst school shooting in history used small caliber handguns with 10 round magazines.

Teachers don’t want guns in school, and teachers vote
-
I am not arguing for more or less guns. I'm arguing that people are blowing hot air dancing around the real issue: responsibility. The more freedom we have, the more responsibility we bear. This applies to guns, to cars, to drugs, and so on. How much death is it worth?
-
Look at cars. We overlook tens of thousands of deaths, stratified across all corners of this nation, to retain the freedoms we currently have with vehicles and the responsibility it requires. Look at tobacco and alcohol: people are free to use, people die.
-
The fundamental disagreement we have is this: I want to keep the responsibility of defending myself as freely as possible, because I do not trust the police to do it as well. The courts ruled that they are not responsible for our safety. Others want to move the responsibility out
-
haha but hey let's argue about whether or not there are too many guns or too little guns in good guy hands! That definitely affects crime levels, just look at the statistics! or we have a sober discussion about stricter protocols, safety, and the cost of freedom on innocent lives

Arming teachers is not the solution to school shooting. It is a FALECY-The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. It didn't work with Americas best the secret service. If it work there would be no shootings of armed law enforecemt. The only thing that...pic.twitter.com/0CPbcbP71m

will stop mass shootings is
#AssaultWeaponBan ,universal background checks and other common sense gun laws. Scotland has not had a mass shooting when they banned assault weapons like AR-15. NO MASS SHOOTING FOR 10 YRS. Austrilia has not had a mass shooting since they banned thesepic.twitter.com/mwQHcSMbIh

weapons. You can keep your hand guns and rifles. But anything which allows a person to shoot 100's rounds is minutes is unacceptable. Children should not have to be fearful to attend school.Arming teachers will not make them feel any safer. Teachers already have a hard enough job

Let me guess. More guns?

How about every single school district in the nation gets to decide whether to allow armed teachers and armed security on campus? Do you agree?
