I live in south Texas & there’s a lot of voter fraud here. Even tho they’re all democrats 99% it hurts our Senator, Governor & presidential elections. With illegal votes going to the democratic candidate. I would love to go undercover & bring down as many corrupt ppl as I could.

And what about illegal gerrymandering? Or Russian interference in elections? Those are some serious threats to democracy.

By the way, voter fraud is like 00.0001% but Republican officials continue to thwart electtions.
-
Thwart elections?
-
Yep. Definition of thwart - prevent (someone) from accomplishing something
-
All elections take place. As far as I know no election has been thwarted. On the other hand, dead people, cartoon characters, out of state voters should be thwarted from voting in any election; especially Texas.

95% of voters in India have a photo ID. The majority of people in India are dirt poor, and not according to American standards either. https://qz.com/197550/almost-all-voters-in-india-now-have-a-photo-identity-card/ … India: Povertypic.twitter.com/2UY1CMX6vs

India actively promotes having an ID. In the US, we have many barriers to overcome. I'm working with someone who is indigent. No documentation of any kind. Can't get ID because of no birth certificate or SS card. Can't get birth certificate w/o ID. Catch22
-
That does happen but rare, I know of a lady who had lost all her papers. Finally got her birth certificate, dealt with it thru governor's office of birth State, took almost a year. We can't let cases like that be a pretext to let people vote unverified.
-
What you are missing is that Republicans in Texas made getting an ID harder at the same time as imposing Voter ID requirements. That coincidence is not lost on us. That is part of the playbook from ALEC. Illegal voting is so rare it can't support the suppressive measures.
