African American unemployment rate is now at an all time low. This follows last month’s report showing Hispanic report at a new low. Economic prosperity is spreading across America. #jobs #txlege #Economyhttps://www.marketplace.org/2018/01/05/economy/december-jobs-report-adds-148000 …

All jobs are not created equal, sir. A low unemployment rate is meaningless if the people working those jobs can't get insurance because they are part time or can't feed their family because they make $8.00/hour.

But i think we can all agree that a job is better than no job. So it’s not meaningless.

Not necessarily. A single mom that must pay rent, child care, utilities and buy food on even $9/hr and works 30 hours per week would be better off not working and drawing welfare, food stamps and Medicaid. Until we pay people a living wage, this is reality.
