In case you were wondering they are not protesting the anthem.... stop twisting things.

If they want to do something to help fix a problem, why not go to communities that feel the racial injustice the most. Get involved there.
-
Many of them have. Kaepernick, who started the protest, has donated 800K to different charitable organizations.http://ftw.usatoday.com/2017/08/colin-kaepernick-nfl-national-anthem-protest-one-million-dollar-pledge-donations-empower-communities …

Sorry Kyle let these over payed players protest on there own time. Jobs is what these oppressed communities need not some hand out.
-
They're asking for justice for unarmed black men killed with impunity by racist police, not a hand out.
-
Great for them but on there own time people pay alot to escape the every day troubles. Not to watch people protest
-
Literally takes up like 30 seconds of the broadcast then goes straight back to football....
-
Ok disrespect the American flag then will have fun thank Kyle

First of all, these protests are about police violence against black people.
-
Secondly, even if these were acts of political dissent, trying to *silence* political dissent is, itself, un-American.
-
In short, unwrap yourself from the flag. Stepping on someone's neck and force them to salute the flag is fascism.
-
If you don't care that bad cops are able to murder black people, just come out and say that already.

WE KNOW THIS IS ABOUT POLICE VIOLENCE AGAINST BLACK PEOPLE. Pence's cheap PR stunt won't change the narrative.https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smithsonian-institution/long-painful-history-police-brutality-in-the-us-180964098/ …
-
For anyone who winds up here, just remember that this is all a fake distraction from the real issue. VOTE.

No that was political grand standing. And it is their constitutional right to protest. If you bothered to learn you’d know the protest isn’t
-
Against the actual flag or the anthem. But despite what they’re protesting. It’s their right to do so.
-
This is not a fascist society so trying to force people to act a certain way during the anthem is wrong.
-
But they can force us to buy Heath insurance.???
-
What does health insurance have to do with the conversation at hand?
-
Sounds like you’re wrongly assuming I’m a liberal
-
The VP also has a right to protest. He, like millions of Americans find the players method of protesting offensive and have stopped watching.
