Texas & the federal government have plenty of money for Houston. It's important to follow the right process.http://m.chron.com/news/politics/texas/article/Abbott-to-Turner-Get-your-Harvey-needs-to-me-12233010.php?cmpid=twitter-mobile …

Houston wasn't the only part of TX hit! Though financially it seems all of the private funds are headed there.

Let's remember this when it comes time to vote. It's time for these people to go. Texas is changing and these people need to be punished.

Is Mayor Turner now following @DNC marching orders rather than putting Houston first?

It seemed that way when no one was evacuated in advance. I surely hope not.

Do you live in Houston? 6.5 mil people evacuating is a massive risk & the last time it was done it caused more deaths than actual storms. Our Judge & Mayor made the right call on this.

No, I live in Florida where we were evacuated long before the storm even decided where to hit! We had more than 6.5 million evacuate.

Then why concerned w/ TX?We have 6.5 mil for one city, not 1/4 of the state.Wind events & rain events are 2 different things, no comparison.

but what about the small towns in rural areas that did get the hurricane's full force & don't have full comms back. Houston wasn't hit.

Better track that money closely, Greg. Hate for the Democrats to redirect it to their cronies.
