Texas cities are blue and leading the nation in job creation. Your attacks are because you fear the emergence of strong progressive leaders.

Very few Texas cities are blue. The oil industry is a very significant portion of job creation in Texas and has been for many years. Not blue
-
Only 3 Texas cities on this list and they are all big & blue. Luckily we're are an energy state not an "oil" state. https://www.google.com/amp/amp.usatoday.com/story/307612001/ …
-
Houston and Austin are 2 cities, not 3.Texas has always been an oil state. Big blue Houston has benefited from the oil biz for generations.
-
+ Dallas, SA...So has Beaumont and Port Arthur which are in decline since the 50s, but Houston diversified its economy. Times are changing.

Cities like Austin pay our taxes, we woo investors, elevate Texans in entertainment, business and technology- we don't deserve this garbage

Your attack on progressive cities is partisan, otherwise you'd also be addressing your party's discriminatory redistricting maps.
-
They are set to be addressed in this session. Plz pay attention.

you push local govt until local govt doesn't agree and then you want State or Federal Govt control. Stop being a hypocrite.
-
The majority doesn't agree with you. You only think that because of your gerrymandering and voter suppression
-
The majority of Texas DOES agree with him.
-
So put all of the hateful laws up to a vote for all Texans. Won't happen because the legislature has been rigged through gerrymandering.
-
The outcome would be unchanged. You would still be whining because you did not get your way.

Sheriffs & police chiefs agree: your law puts everyone at risk bc crime goes unreported & culture of fear takes hold.
-
But not the deputies and officers who work for them! They want to support SB4 and do their part to
#MAGA -
Maybe some, cops who care about public safety dont:http://www.npr.org/2017/05/25/529513771/new-immigration-crackdowns-creating-chilling-effect-on-crime-reporting …

Local officials are a bunch of junior Boss Hoggs that need to be regulated. They are not the taxpayers' friend.
-
@Ryanexpress77 With an insatiable appetite for tax dollars. Often contractors are funding the marketing 4 the bond proposals
-
I saw Dallas is going for another bond. this time to fix the roads. Dallas ISD is going for a straight massive 15 % tax hike.
-
On top of appraisal creep? Call for an audit and then vote them all out.
-
NJ passed a 2% cap on assessed value increases per year. CA has the same limit. Why can't Texas?
-
CA has a 13% state income tax and NJ has a high state income tax. We need to go to a straight consumption tax.
-
I like the consumption tax but it will take years to get there. We need immediate help now.
#SB2 and a local spending cap is our best hope. -
An appraisal cap would help too. Houston gov is trying to overturn its spending cap.
