Genetic testing can’t happen until 12 weeks after a heartbeat has already formed.
This heartbeat “deadline” for when to allow abortion would be much to early.
Needs to be around 14 weeks. This allows for genetic testing, counseling, and decision making for the parents.

It's not a person yet. It doesn't have any rights because it's still legally a part of the pregnant person's body.
Once it can survive outside the womb, THEN it's a person. Not before.
