What about my job? I can’t afford my insurance. I’m a teacher and have been for 18 years... I have a college degree. It looks like my benefits will not improve in 2019..I have always been a Republican... but I will vote Democrat for RELIEF!!! and influence others to do also
-
Same here. Teacher and health insurance going up 5-6% in cost.

Let's start hiring americans with a little checkered past, and the state should give tax incentives , everybody deserves as many chances as God gives us to wake up lets so stop being hypocrites help americans not everybody's perfect and that's the American way to help those;
-
And I don't want anybody to think this is about racism it is about sociology and when you can face sociology and understand sociology it's not about racism when we see issues we need to somehow address them Weatherby through commercials sending pamphlets out address it

Texans have jobs but do these jobs provide life sustaining wages? As property taxes go up to cover the difference in state support of public education, will wages also increase? Texans are struggling! State politicians are not listening.
-
Bea, I'll try to explain, the state is not obligated to provide jobs, or high wages. Or low wages. What we are obligated to do is provide an environment that fosters job growth, so corporations can offer jobs. The wage rate is up to you.
-
I disagree with you. The state has the responsibility to foster job growth so Texans are not living at or below the poverty level. The state is obligated....THEY WORK FOR US. WE ARE THEIR EMPLOYER!!
