This takeover of the Texas school curriculum by radical leftists must be stopped. Thank you Gov. @GregAbbott_TX for speaking out on this. We need you to do everything necessary to preserve our history.

Close Tornillo & get the GOP-orphaned kids back home then we can talk about your fringe conspiracy theories pushed by your
#bathroombill friends. Fully fund#txed like the Texas Constitution demands & then we can talk about your attempts at revisionist history.#txlege -
"...like the Texas Constitution demands..." Did a state court rule the system unconstitutional and I wasn't paying attention?

For any government entity, local, state or federal, to banish any representation of the Ten Commandments from any public space is a direct violation of the First Amendment!
-
That applies to the Torah and any other religious texts as well. You have to be okay with that if you're okay with this...
-
Absolutely! Although certain Islamic texts calling for violence against the infidel could be disqualified on other grounds.

So you'll be ok when other religions want to do the same? Better to have a separation of church and state.

Abbott anyone who knows about the Ten Commandments knows that Jesus fine-tuned the Commandments giving just two to follow. Do you know them? If so why don't you promote them and follow them yourself?

This is pandering to religious extremism and you do it well. The earth is 6k years old and Jesus was around with Dinos. Right?

-
I mean, that’s what I was taught growing up. Coloring books with Jesus on dinosaurs and text books that say they still exist and everything. Why change now?

Moses? Really? I guess I can't put by tiki God on my bookshelf because "no idols". Or maybe we should just apply it to TV shows featuring wannabe rock stars.

Heck, being covetous is the foundation of our economy. Makes us buy stuff...and hard to see how 10 extremely vague laws (only 2 of which, stealing and murder, can be considered crimes) are the foundation of the American legal system.
