Close gun show loopholes and support nationwide backgrounds checks. Turning schools into armed camps is the opposite of a solution. Teachers are not security guards. They are already social workers, babysitters, counselors and nutritionists. Not paid enough.

Not everyone should have a gun you piece of shit. Nutcases no matter the age shouldn’t be allowed to be near guns. It’s not hard to understand.
-
And i look forward to you defining who is a “nutcase,” Nick. And oh by the way how you can legislate said “nutcases” to not be allowed near guns.

This sounds like a good plan, Governor. Also, any provision that would include mandatory lock up of weapons at home (as some are demanding) would render a self-defense weapon useless in this case. If parents have children, they must use common sense.
-
Common sense says your child is ten times more likely to use that gun to kill themselves than to stop a home invasion.

Or shooting up their school like the 17 year old shooter in Santa Fe. Glad to know you haven't done jacksh*t Gregory.

Train your kids on Self-Defense-they may save lives-like this good boy did. Our ancestors knew how at this age, & younger, too. Today is more dangerous to Our Children-BC of "politicians", who "BRING-IN THE ENEMY-FOR VOTES."

This is how you run a state, legislate for your people while still protecting everyone's Constitutional Rights.

For every kid who protects themselves like this multiple more kids use that gun to commit suicide.
-
Like they wouldn't find another way without a gun?

17 yo trained in use of weapons, home alone, hid from burglars B&E holding weapon for defense, shot when they opened door w/weapon? Such cases are very different from taking weapons to harm others.
Parents/child should not be prosecuted for this.
