    ...one interesting finding so far is that this frog’s generic names in isiZulu, Sepedi, and Xitsonga sound very similar. Any linguistics experts out there that might be able to help decipher this?

    Scientific names: Hemisus guttatus Afrikaans: Gespikkelde graafneuspadda. English: Spotted Shovel-nosed Frog. IsiZulu: Isinana esimabhadubhadu. Still researching names in other South African languages.
