Did you know that most EU citizens in the UK can still vote at the next European election even if Britain leaves the EU as planned in March? More information here:

Dear well done - that represents a lot of hard work. And you are SO lucky having a decent voting system.

This is why has taken the government to court over its Right to Rent checks - creating a hostile environment for undocumented migrants is not possible without increasing discrimination & hostility for all of us.

2019 really not getting off to a good start. Been listening to on how dangerous the English Channel is and the risk to life. 2,242 migrants drowned in the Mediterranean in 2018, from where the Border Force cutters are being redeployed as I understand it.

The treatment of EU citizens since the advisory referendum in 2016 is utterly disgraceful and properly frightening. Yet another reason for a confirmatory vote to give people a say on the actual terms of leaving the EU negotiated by Mrs May.

This was a big part of the vote to leave the EU. Not this story in particular, but the environment of blatant lies, fake news and deceit which permeated society at every level. In 2019 call it out for what it is -

2019 will be the crunch year for EU citizens in the UK. We must: 1) inform EU citizens of their rights 2) monitor the implementation of Settled Status 3) hold the Govt to account on its promises Please support EU citizens by donating here:

Disturbing to hear of violence at polls. People should be able to vote in safety for candidate of their choice

If your primary motivation for trying to stop migrants making a dangerous sea cross is concern for their safety, then lay on a free ferry service for them. If the real reason you want to stop them trying to make the crossing is xenophobia, then just say so

Fancy that. No10 announce - at 4.30pm on Xmas week Friday - that prominent Brexiteer Sir Edward Leigh has now been made a privy counsellor (he already has a knighthood). Wonder what he'll do come the meaningful vote?

Deeply depressing news As rightly says “... a renewed assault on whales should be a broader reminder that humanity is at war with its own planet”.
