Today I was the politically correct killjoy at my office, and it was *hard*. I told a guy his joke about the Toronto van guy wasn't funny.

So I shook my head & said "Not cool." "What, you don't think he deserves it?" the guy asked. "To be raped in prison? No, nobody does."

The guy started backtracking. "I wasn't talking about rape!" Others told me I took it too seriously. "So what *do* you mean?" I asked.

The guy stuttered, & people shook their heads at me. "I used to think those jokes were funny, too," I said. "Then someone said that to me."

"Well, thanks for making it awkward", another co-worker said. I shrugged. "Sorry. Hey, weren't you happy about Meek Mill yesterday?"

Both the first and second co-worker had the switch go on in their heads. You could see it. "Oh. OHHHH. I guess it's not that funny."
