The ink has barely dried on the Mayor’s signature on the JFK Promenade legislation.
Yet this week, paid signature gatherers are hitting the streets with a ballot measure that would overturn 2 years of public process and a fair decision.
We are ready.

Where do YOU think SF should build a #carfree Promenade in each district?
Some people claim slow streets are just for speedy cyclists. No, they’re for everyone going places without a car. Safer & smoother, as these attendees of the
The car-free JFK Promenade is now permanent!
This happened today because of all of the advocates in this community who worked nights and weekends this past year and the 40+ years before to get us to this historic victory.
To you, and our city leaders, we say: Thank you.
This morning join us for an #EarthDay cleanup on a #SlowStreet near you!
Family friendly and supplies provided!
Afterward we’re celebrating with a party at the @GreatHwyPark!

Traffic advisory: Our street crews made headway today clearing sand from the Great Highway but the sustained high winds necessitate additional work at least through tomorrow to tackle the sand buildup. The roadway remains closed to vehicles. @sfmta_muni@RecParkSF@SF311
Meet Jasmine resident of @conniechansf's Richmond District, who loves the JFK Promenade.
"I like how it's car free so people get to exercise."
Jasmine gets it. Let's keep it safe for her. Because when streets are safe for kids, they're safe for everyone.

We have a lot of work to do to address a number of issues we've heard.
Carol, Gene, and the other neighbors have powerful stories to tell about the impact JFK Promenade and Great Highway Park - now vibrant community spaces - have on their lives.

for showing the diverse community of support for car-free JFK!
With 70% support and a robust public process under our belts, it’s time for city leaders to act to make JFK a permanent pedestrian promenade.
IT'S GO TIME! We need all hands on deck to save the kid-safe and car-free JFK Promenade this week!
It's time to:
Write a letter
Call your supervisor
Come to a City Hall rally at 11:30AM Tuesday
...to tell city leaders:
Don't delay on JFK!
