There are also many women who claim their freedom of choice by personally choosing to wear the Niqab. It should not be stereotyped as a general symbol of oppression.

You can’t avoid the stereotype when you have millions of women who are forced to wear it through either the state or social pressure. When those things go away then and only then can there be considered free choice.
