#Mute also confirmed everything I've thought accounted for my disappointment in Blade Runner 2049. And "out Blade Runnered" it, in my opinion. Also: my favorite future cityscape vision since Blade Runner, but isn't "about" that. Naturalism!

Have you watched Altered Carbon? I liked its future cityscape vision more. Also was generally better IMO.

I had the same reaction. 'Carbon' was the Blade Runner sequel we should have gotten. "More Blade Runner Than Blade Runner", if you will :)
