I usually call Habitat for Humanity they'll pick it up they don't put used furniture in the new houses they build for the poor but they have stores where they sell them and use the money to buy new ones.

UPDATE: Just had 2 chairs picked up by a Womens Shelter They were different chairs-I really had too much stuff
& they're checking w/ a woman who's getting her own place to see if she wants the above
& I'm gathering extra kitchen stuff

Check out if there’s a furniture mission or something in your area that helps folks kit out apartments when they’re down on their luck/getting out of bad situations. I donated some of my stuff when I moved cities and it’s a great cause.
