There are also some nice improvements to the permission model: https://developer.android.com/about/versions/11/privacy … Deprecated Storage permission is further out the door, permissions can now be granted on a one-time basis and permissions can be auto-disabled for unused apps along with other improvements.
During the process of porting to Android 11, we've also made further improvements beyond simply porting over our past changes. Several new developers are now actively involved in GrapheneOS development and we have another full-time developer. Can start accomplishing more again.
