Core GrapheneOS developers don't have time available to continue supporting legacy devices. There aren't currently dedicated maintainers for any devices and there are no contributors helping with device support. If this doesn't change legacy devices like these need to be dropped.

Any newly supported devices will need a dedicated device maintenance team committed to long-term support we can publish official releases. Our experience is that community help on device support stops once 90% of the initial implementation is done and we publish initial releases.

Completing the work by applying resource overlays, building components from source and handling stable kernel patches doesn't end up happening. So, from now on, that's going to be required before publishing releases, along with a commitment from other people to continue helping.
