. @granttheant I don't see any evidence to suggest that XBLA/PSN/Console are less fickle and hit driven than mobile/social/facebook

. @morganjaffit The average console/handheld game returns MUCH higher revenue than the average mobile title.

@GrantTheAnt And costs much more - that's why I said ROI. Console/Handheld has been very high risk the last few years.

@morganjaffit point is, there's no middle ground on iOS. You either do well, or you make $100 (roi=0). That's what makes it high risk.

@GrantTheAnt And there's plenty of middle ground - there's a tonne of titles in the $50-200k return range.

@GrantTheAnt In fact, quality is pretty much the only thing that matters. A good concept with a solid hook helps as well.

@morganjaffit Interesting! Very different from other views I've heard on PR & iOS, eg. Chris Wright says PR very important...

@GrantTheAnt It would be fair to say that Chris and I differ a lot on approach - both valid, mind you, but Defiant goes very differently.

@morganjaffit Sure.. interesting. I think the different approaches thing makes me nervous - I'd prefer to believe that quality always wins.

@GrantTheAnt Ultimately, there are many different opportunities for success in iOS, and a lot of roads that work ... that's the good thing!
