Personally I think the dynamic turn rate works great! So I don't think we need this archaic system which gives players access to a lag switch in the options menu. I don't think every player that does this is malicious, plenty don't know what it does, and just do it every game
Yep it's a fair point. That was our motivation for disabling it for the first 30s of ranked games - people were just changing it out of habit without letting the dtr system do its thing. We hoped this change would allow folks to see that dtr works pretty well when left alone.
First of all, thank you for always responding, it means a lot to have this communication! I'm just wondering what is the purpose of keeping the option in ranked at all? On the rare occasion I do get a bad connection (which is rare), I would rather play on TR8 low, than 16 extra h
