The DNC's fuckup of Iowa is terrible and hilarious but nobody is *rigging* a caucus where everybody has cameras & there's a paper record of the results at every precinct. No matter how much you want to believe something is rigged, it's not rigged.

Let’s be clear about something: There is no evidence — none, zero, zilch — to suggest the results of the Iowa Caucuses will be in any way inaccurate, and people suggesting otherwise are irresponsible.

I continue to be impressed by how Team Warren conducts itself. This is serious business with consequences for hundreds of millions of people -- and they act like it.

As we close the night, here's how campaigns are reacting: Pete: I won! Bernie; here's less than 40% of my internal data to give the impression I won Biden: please stop counting Warren: it's close, wait and see, and we'll see you in New Hampshire. Team Warren has class and grace

Ben acts shocked that people think he's racist, so I'll offer him a little tip: one way to seem less racist is to not promote literal Jim Crow policies

Post caucus, Mayor Pete declared victory, team Sanders trashed Pete and the DNC, and Elizabeth Warren spent 20 minutes just bodying Trump and kicking him in the teeth repeatedly and then thanked her dog. Which is why I like Warren.

I take the contrary view. Last night was a GREAT night for democracy because it might finally spell the demise of (a) caucuses and (b) front-loading unrepresentative states in a months-long race for the nomination.

I’m gonna be really pissed if after all of this Bran is the nominee.

Hint: the candidate who benefited from caucuses in 2016 wasn't a woman

I just donated $18 to for acting responsibly tonight and also for just rolling with the punches. I’m really dismayed at the way Biden, Buttigieg and Sanders have handled this. I was already for Warren but she proved tonight she knows what to do in a chaotic situation.

In the 2012 Iowa caucuses, it took more than two weeks to declare the winner on the Republican side.

This is what happens when we decide to give an unnecessary importance to the 4th least diverse state in the country that is mostly red and uses one of the least accessible voting systems

Between Pete & Bernie declaring victory with 0% of the vote announced and Biden saying the results can’t be trusted I’m now very certain that Elizabeth Warren is the right choice on account of I’d like an adult to run the country please.

VA Republican tries to own the libs. Libs: shrug and say 'sure'. VA Republican: No no no no that's not what I meant I take it back you were supposed to be so owned.

For the record, it was Bernie that fought to preserve the caucus system because he did better in low-turnout contests in which supporter intensity is an advantage.

One thing that *all* the data seems to agree upon is that Sanders didn't add many voters from the 1st alignment to the 2nd alignment. Meaning, relatively few people who didn't caucus with him initially joined him later on.
