This afternoon, BJ took me to a place called the Atlanta Humane Society to meet a bunch of homeless dogs, and I loved all of them! The adult dogs were behind glass, but I could tell some of them loved me too!pic.twitter.com/u5b7dKVhkz

This afternoon, BJ took me to a place called the Atlanta Humane Society to meet a bunch of homeless dogs, and I loved all of them! The adult dogs were behind glass, but I could tell some of them loved me too!pic.twitter.com/u5b7dKVhkz
I wish I could have pet all the dogs, but they only allow that when you’re thinking of adopting one and BJ didn’t want to bother the busy people working. So we just looked, but I loved looking at all the dogs!pic.twitter.com/He5CUsfLgF
People are allowed to pet the puppies, but they haven’t had all their shots yet, so you have to disinfect your hands after you pet each puppy. I couldn’t disinfect, so I’d only get to pet one puppy. I looked at them all and then waited until the end to choose.pic.twitter.com/xdw2HhEn84
This is Diane, and I think she was my favorite puppy even though she is very, very shy. BJ had to stay with her for a long time before she let him pet her without running away. He said she’s probably never met a Lego minifig, and she might get scared, so I just watched.pic.twitter.com/JVi9wKnxgm
We saw three different families adopt dogs while we were there, including a black one-year-old puppy named Sasha who was one of my favorites. A mom and daughter adopted her, and they were very nice, and even asked to meet me. I hope someone nice adopts Diane the Shy Puppy.
Since Diane was so shy and Sasha got adopted before I made my decision, I chose to pet Penelope as my one puppy I was allowed to pet. BJ said she was the softest puppy there.pic.twitter.com/pRRSeALpjA
One of my favorite things about Penelope was that she seemed to talk. The other puppies barked or whined, but not Penelope. She made soft bark noises and I think she was trying to tell me something.pic.twitter.com/bFeTFW7T6K
At the end of our visit, I finally got to meet Penelope face-to-face. We were both speechless, but I was so happy!pic.twitter.com/v3Y7v9ZtjW
When it was time for us to go, Penelope didn’t want us to leave. She climbed up to grab BJ’s hand and then she sat down and didn’t want to let go. She just stayed like this for a while. When we finally left, Penelope barked “Goodbye!”pic.twitter.com/KCaUee4OC9
