LOL, I’m pro both. I know Diet Coke is bad for me. I just don’t like being nagged. Who likes that?
I agree! We are all adults. Diet Coke just really hits home for me cuz it was a huge addiction. 2 years later I’m finally past it.
It should be, but then again we are adults! One’s chock full of chemicals and the other is natural.
Many chemicals are natural and necessary for life. Not everything that is natural is healthy--e.g., cyanide, arsenic, and strychnine are all natural.
Well those wonderful chemicals will not be found in the soda that is a major part of our youth’s obesity epidemic.pic.twitter.com/5ulz0TKlMj
The "chemical" in soda contributing to obesity is C12H22O11, a/k/a sucrose, a/k/a table sugar. Which is pretty "natural".
They’re putting table sugar in Diet Coke? I think not my good man, and Diet Coke causes sugar cravings too. But at least this is a thoughtful and applicable retort
I was responding to your comment about soda. Didn't realize you were only talking Diet Coke. But aspartame is made of two natural amino acids.
Anyway, my main point is that "natural/artificial" are not good signals for "healthy/unhealthy". Nor is "chemical" useful as a signal for "unhealthy" any more than "organic" equates with "healthy".
That being said, I think all-natural, organic, free-range marijuana is probably your healthiest vice.
