The Senate is representation disproportionate to population. So at a high level, similar principle to gerrymandering--diluting voting power of some while favoring others.

But key difference is Senate is based on Constitution while gerrymandering is purely political.

yeah i mean being based on a 230 year old document based in a completely different world isnt that relevant IMO. Joe you can call it federalism but it's really hard to justify federalism in such drastic proportions given the huge concentration towards cities. It's antidemocratic
