Trump won 1/3rd of the repub votes. His polarizing positions will see far less crossover of in-party support. Whoever he faces 1-1 will win.
@alexpokerguy Dangerous to project heads up results from an 8-person contest. Stupid to assume all non-Trump votes in NH/IA are anti-Trump.

@Grange95 but I'm happy to hear why u think it's dangerous to predict a heads up meet from an 8prsn field that is a viable field of 3-4 max. -
@alexpokerguy In 3-4 way race, Trump wins at 35%-40%. Many states are winner take all. Trump doesn't *need* much/any gain in support. - 3 more replies

@Grange95 ...whichever opponent he ends up running against. It's just my opinion here, and again, not saying 'all' (per ur characterization) -
@alexpokerguy Anyway, any candidate who can pull 35% in 8-way race is: a) formidable, & b) not far from 50% if field shrinks.

@Grange95 I'll firmly stand by my opinion that he would receive far less crossover in in-party support. I don't see the danger, either, fwiw -
@alexpokerguy Trump is already getting some endorsements or signals of support from establishment GOP leaders.

@Grange95 with the way the Repub party relies on collective effort and talking points, I'd be shocked if the party didn't rally behind ...Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
