Not backtracking at all. You suggested young people should go party it up in clubs. I suggested this was quite risky given the risk of asymptomatic infection of vulnerable populations. But go ahead and party it up.

You go out to a bar, odds are you go out to shop, work, eat, etc. You’re going to be around high risk people regardless. Still worth a night at the club?

You go to the store, be around that mass of chaotic individuals that have been who knows where. You’re going to be around high risk people regardless. Still worth going shopping?

People *need* to shop for supplies, like baby food, diapers, medication, basic foods, pet supplies .... You seem to think people *need* to go clubbing.

No you’re just that dumb and didn’t catch the point the first time around when I said it’s the exact same as being around that many people in any other situation. People *need* to continue living how they see fit. You don’t wanna go? Fine don’t go. Quit judging people who do

Probably right that I’m dumb, though I have a BA and JD with honors. Science says we need to curtail socialization. You think you know better than science because you like the clubs. Fair enough. I go with science.

Can you really curtail your exposure to high risk individuals? Do you know how many of your friends or coworkers have immune system problems? How about whether your friends you hang with have elderly or other high risk contacts?

You were defending people who go out clubbing. That was as my point—going clubbing puts people at risk. If you truly just hang out at home, that’s the epitome of self-quarantining.
