Create for the medium you are working in. If you know this is not going to be displayed in a cinema, don't shoot it for the cinema, and for sure don't blame your audience for your crappy work.
I watched in a totally dark room, spent time trying to adjust picture, still couldn’t see.
It's a pretty classist asusmption on the creative team's part that we all own home theater systems with 4K HD TVs too
If the point is to create art where the viewer is drawn into the show, it seems counterintuitive to want to jar the viewer out of that experience so they’re focused on something technical rather than on your art.
