That chart is a bit misleading. Several countries (including UK) don’t have paid holidays, like the US. Also wrong in that it includes national holidays in UK total. 20 is legal minimum.

The concept of “paid holidays” is also tricky. In the US, salaried employees generally get paid the same during pay periods with a holiday. Some hourly workers are also given a day’s pay for holidays; depends on employer. Of course, government employees are paid for holidays.
