Growing up we had that awful western Nebraska chili. Thin and watery made with ground beef, tomato juice and beans. The chili I make now is thick, meaty with deep spice and beef flavor with big tender chunks of chuck. It does cost a lot more to make tho. Worth the $30+ and time
