Work on the 2 bridges south of Gros Ventre Jct is taking place this week. Visitors have been experiencing delays of up to 15 minutes during the day. We expect these delays to continue through Friday, and potentially into the weekend and early next week. http://go.nps.gov/1et807 .

Rangers recovered the body of a climber on the east face of Teewinot Mountain today. The deceased climber is 27-year old Burak Akil of Wayne, New Jersey. It is believed Akil was solo climbing Teewinot Mountain on Sunday, and fell on the descent. Story:http://go.nps.gov/8lb1ye
