I don’t know what creators

supposedly asked about this change, because we’re a high-revenue creator and they sure didn’t ask us. Also I think it’s an awful idea and will HARM the creators they claim to be “putting first”.

I can see a LOT of folks jumping ship to higher twitch tiers. I'm definitely considering it.

Only problem there is, even with a 70/30 split, the streamer only gets $17.50 on a $25 sub. ☹️

This seems to be the answer across the board. Seems awful. Hopefully they will respond with reasons and/or resolutions.

This whole situation just feels weird - Patreon was founded BY artists. Did they sign off on this, or has corporate interests taken over? Either way this sucks :(
