Maybe you should have spent your time analysing and criticising rather than making 'goo goo eyes' at Bozza. Just a thought.

British political reporters right to stick together to stop No 10 choosing who scrutinises the PM. Big principles at stake. Number 10 seems to back free trade in goods but not in information.

An exercise in imagination today, visiting the beautiful Palazzo d’Arco here in Mantova. Mozart stayed here in early 1770 with his father, and we pictured the 13-year-old - voice breaking, perhaps? - wandering around, awestruck. The room with the font was probably his bedroom.

Too little too late. This is on you media. Naming political editors Kuenssberg & Peston, Oborne accuses senior journalists of effectively "allowing themselves to become press spokesmen for Boris Johnson & Cummings" and "debauching political discourse"

The press did everything it could for 4 years to undermine the only viable opposition. This is on you lot. And when Assange was locked up in solitary as punishment for revealing war crimes, where were you? If you were any good at your job they'd just lock you up too.

My last word on this - I felt deeply uncomfortable being left to stand on one side of the room while colleagues' names were read out one-by-one and they joined the group who were deemed "acceptable" by No 10. Sinister and sad.

Just reading about a failing state where the leader is wilfully destroying the economy and refuses to release details of foreign interference and now wants to control which press has access to government briefings and sorry that’s us.

This reproduction may not be flawless, but we think it is Floll-less! With knights like Sir Floll, who needs to be at the Round Table anyways? (📸: 'Prince Arthur', v 1, 1816, in the Barry Gaines Collection. Punspiration: )
