  17. Opportunity cost matters. And more rushing attempts will never = more wins. But, because the rookie RB wage scale is so low, I have a very hard time being convinced that taking RBs after Round 1 is “bad value.” Team fit matters and Dobbins was a home run in in that regard.

  18. J.K. Dobbins newly signed contract will make him the 41st-highest paid RB in the NFL. Per his rookie deal, Dobbins is set to make 77% less guaranteed money than what Austin Ekeler just got in March. Dobbins will be making $1.4M this year. UDFA Raheem Mostert will make $2.9M.
