Nailed it, as ways. When my son was 4, he used to jump on his bed near a 2nd story window. When we told him it was dangerous because he could fall out he told us "he'd just sprout wings like a pterodactyl and fly to the ground." Responsible parenting is a lost art.

When I was young, I desperately wanted to be a boy. Thank goodness I wasn't raised by the current generation of parents or there may have been devastating consequences. It was a phase for me!

Same. Jeans & t-shirts, no make-up and even short hair until around 16. Had my parents "made" me a boy because I said I wish I were one... Well, I would've had one screwed up life. Bet that! I'm still a bit of a 'tom-boy' but I'm definitely a woman everywhere that it counts.
