Rep. Gohmert has been invited to join the American First Caucus, which calls for respecting "Anglo-Saxon political traditions" and working towards infrastructure that reflects "European architecture." Gohmert told @NikolenDC that the new caucus is "not supposed to be about race."

If it's not supposed to be about race, it's weird that he preemptively tell a reporter that. Maybe he knew people would be confused about their motivations because *checks notes* they're focusing on "Anglo-Saxon political traditions"?
