It’s just talk. Now ICE kicks into high gear deporting contributing members of society -easily found because they live lives of stability and check in regularly. Meanwhile, opioid manufacturers who pay political contributions will be allowed to continue to prey on Americans

Smart politicians will totally ignore the rhetoric of Trump, even avoid commenting about it, in favor of reaching toward practical solutions in a neutral, business-like manner. Thanks Governor. It's gotta be Colorado First ... Im looking at you DeGette.

But “Colorado First” echos the nationalistic, jingoistic, and non-cooperative attitude of the national government. The state can’t just bulldoze over potential partners to strong-arm them into disadvantaging themselves the way Trump and the Republicans in Congress do.

Both sides benefit if you’ve made a good deal.

History is full of uncomfortable compromises benefitting one party over another.

I so hope you are right. Colorado is doing far better than most states.
