It’s great to be on Amazon’s list of finalists as they consider the location of their second headquarters. Colorado is one of the most business-friendly states in America and we believe the Denver region would be a great choice for Amazon’s second location! #AmazonH2Q

How is this great when its said that if Amazon moves to Colorado, the cost of living is going to go sky high and people, even some of the ones who come with Amazon, will financially struggle the whole time?! This is not good!! This is pure greed!!

If we proceed with trying to procure the next #amazonheadquarters, we need to ensure that more housing is built to sustain such a growth in population. Demand has driven prices in Boulder to the point where students can only afford to live here if they take out heavy loans...

...and the same can be said for just about anywhere else in the Denver metro area. Single parents are forced to live with roommates; folks in the service industry have to share rooms. We need to ensure that Colorado is a safe and affordable place for all its residents.

We need to come up with plans to create affordable housing that doesn’t require folks to go through the state. Housing should be affordable simply as a state of being.

Except that our infrastructure is lacking, we’re likely bending over backwards offering tax incentives, and cost of living has increased to the point that peeps are now leaving CO to find more reasonably priced housing. Other than that....

NO!! NO!! NO!! This would destroy everything we hold dear here & turn Denver into LA...overcrowding, too much traffic, sky high cost of living. NO @amazon !!! Amazon is NOT welcome here!

I've noticed a significant uptick in your #Homeless population. Cost of living in #Denver is out of control! You will be the next #Seattle. Where families and communities are driven out of their homes for the sake of corporate greed & accommodating highly paid tech workers.

Only if it's in Pueblo. That is a list of states fighting to get their lips furthest down Amazon's shaft

Work on your state’s diversity and racism issues, Gov. It should be more than white people’s heaven for Amazon HQ2 to come here.

How about we address the unsustainable growth first, which is maximizing our infrastructure and causing Denver to be unaffordable for more and more people.
