Wildfires burning all over the world - smoke everywhere - and President Trump wants to burn more coal with fewer clean air protections by dropping the Clean Power Plan. Colorado is staying the course, improving air quality and safeguarding our health.

And allowing wind towers on the eastern plains to destroy quality of life and the darkness of the night sky and kill birds. At least make them shield the lights!! Please! Went thru Nebraska and rural areas are still dark. It was amazing!

Funny you left out the all of the oil and gas wells on the eastern plains that flare natural gas, leak methane and create enormous amounts of air pollution that impacts wildlife and human health.

Oil wells are much less invasive...and they are contained to an area not spread all over every ridge for miles on end.

“much less invasive”. Really? Here’s an aerial shot of the Jonah Field in WY. And btw - air pollution knows no borders.pic.twitter.com/J5SnKyVmOE

Staying the course with fracking is absolutely hurting our air and water. Establishment Dems (and I used to consider myself one) need to realize we have to change our old way of thinking, even if oil and gas donors don't like it.

Some of the fires this summer have emitted up to 20M tons of CO2.

Whatever, John. I believed you back in 2002 when you ran for mayor that you cared about the environment. Since then, you’ve sold yourself out to the big $ developers and signed off on the dumbest environmental boondoggle:( #ditchtheditch

It’s hard to take this seriously when you don’t intervene with all of these industrial sized #fracking pads right in the middle of high density residential areas. I can tell you, we do not feel like our Colorado air is clean at all. Please step up and step in. #pausethepermits

You need to throw your hat into the 2020 race. We need a principled moderate from beyond the coasts with broad appeal.

...by fracking everywhere? You know fracking contributes to greenhouse gas emissions, too, right? Our mass transit options are pathetic, and every day I-25 is like a parking lot. Please, don't pretend you care about the environment. We're not that dumb.
