Colorado air already challenged by heat, wildfires, congestion. Why make worse? Why roll back emission standards? Truth: in end will cost drivers more AND make air quality worse. We will stick with cleaner, less expensive standards!

You’re kidding, right? Your complicity in not holding COGCC and the oil & gas industry accountable harms Coloradans’ health & safety while adding fugitive methane to @Colorado’s air. Colorado has become #frack hell & it happened under your watch.

Exactly the first thought that came into my head. He should be setting a date for the end of fossil fuel extraction in Colorado.

Exactly, Tom. How about reworking COGCC to CO Energy Conservation Commission? Make renewables a priority. Leave a legacy @GovofCO that makes you proud.

#ditchtheDitch then! How much will the air quality be affected by more construction, digging up superfund sites & hauling the contaminated soil across the state?

Pot smoke.....leaf blowers, lawn mowers, snow throwers and snow mobiles all contribute to air quality. Fuel efficiency standards, as POTUS is discussing, don't necessarily correlate to air quality. Recall 'Dieselgate' where higher MPG also had worse emissions. 1/2

Given that we've taken ~ 99% of HC, CO, and NOx out of tailpipes since 1975, the issue for "air quality" is now CO2, which the Supreme Court required EPA to regulate 10 yrs ago. Emissions of CO2 correlate inversely to fuel consumption. But you knew that!

And expanding highways with no expectation of improving congestion, is helping Colorado’s air quality and in particular Denver’s brown cloud, how? @ditchtheditch #BradEvansforRTD

Plus...in their greedy grab for more $$ they ignore the FACT that smaller cars are often safer than the big SUVs. Check the ratings! My tiny Elantra rated higher than the Sonata sedan.
