    We're hearing folks in Hampton Roads are receiving SCAM calls from people posing as "disaster response officials" trying to get personal information for "evacuation reimbursement." Be very wary of any such call, and contact my office if you get one.

    Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam told Virginians to "shelter in place and stay off the roads" in anticipation of Hurricane Florence's arrival. "We anticipate tropical storm force winds, flooding and several inches of rain in parts of the state," he said.
