  1. In 2019, I designated PA as a Purple Heart State. Pennsylvanians have fought throughout history to preserve our freedom. Every year, we honor the legacy of the more than 91,000 Pennsylvanians killed or wounded in war since 1917.

  5. I’m proud of the millions of Pennsylvanians who have stepped up to get vaccinated and everyone who made it happen. I'm in Philly today to urge those of you who haven't yet to get your shot. We're seeing a new surge of cases nationwide that's putting our most vulnerable at risk.

  11. The landmark Voting Rights Act was signed 56 years ago, banning laws to suppress voters of color. As states create new voting barriers, it's critical that Congress reinforce voter protections and pass the For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.
